The new name in Equestrian flooring
As well being used for Horse stables, garages, walkways and sheds, Checkerlok can also be installed in horse walkers. This was tested at a site in Oxfordshire for Denchworth Equestrian.
Prior to installation, there was a bare concrete floor. This concrete floor meant that the horses shoes could be damaged, the horses may slip and any damage to the floor cannot be easily repaired.
The only option was to lay a flooring down that can cope with the everyday usage of a horse, protecting the horse and the floor itself.
During installation, prior to cutting. We started to lay full tiles of Checkerlok creating an area that could then be cut to shape.
A fully installed Horse Walker will provide you with a durable level surface which can be easily removed cleaning or maintenance.
